The 95th Oscar Nominees Have Been Announced!

Creator Sakib is a entertainment blog. here we published Latest rumors and news in the entertainment industry from the world, Get the most recent information about celebrity engagements, divorces, and scandals.

The Documentary Feature, International Film, Original Score, Song, Sound, Visual Effects, and the three Shorts competitions are among the 10 Oscar categories for which the Academy has, as in previous years, released shortlists. As always, there are surprises mixed in with the anticipated awards and the dominance of some frontrunners. Wakanda Forever and All Quiet on the Western Front, which dominate all other competitors with mentions in five distinct categories, make this group of finalists seem especially delicious for Black Panther fans. Avatar: The Way of Water, which has four categories, is not far behind.

We'll have more analysis later, but for now, let's take a look at the entire list and offer some quick thoughts.

INTERNATIONAL FEATURE FILM

  1. Argentina, Argentina, 1985
  2. Austria, Corsage
  3. Belgium, Close
  4. Cambodia, Return to Seoul
  5. Denmark, Holy Spider
  6. France, Saint Omer
  7. Germany, All Quiet on the Western Front
  8. India, Last Film Show
  9. Ireland, The Quiet Girl
  10. Mexico, Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths
  11. Morocco, The Blue Caftan
  12. Pakistan, Joyland
  13. Poland, EO
  14. South Korea, Decision to Leave
  15. Sweden, Cairo Conspiracy
I was shocked by Klondike's omission and disappointed that Alcarràs and Mars One were not included. However, overall, I didn't make such terrible forecasts, which is a rare accomplishment.

DOCUMENTARY FEATURE

  1. All That Breathes
  2. All the Beauty and the Bloodshed
  3. Bad Axe
  4. Children of the Mist
  5. Descendant
  6. Fire of Love
  7. Hallelujah: Leonard Cohen, a Journey, a Song
  8. Hidden Letters
  9. A House Made of Splinters
  10. The Janes
  11. Last Flight Home
  12. Moonage Daydream
  13. Navalny
  14. Retrograde
  15. The Territory
One of the best lineups of the year may be found in this category. So, AMPAS, please don't let us down. In terms of shocks, I'm astounded that Good Night Oppy didn't make this shortlist. In the same way, Three Minutes: A Lengthening, which many people anticipated, also applies.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

ORIGINAL SCORE

  1. All Quiet on the Western Front
  2. Avatar: The Way of Water
  3. Babylon
  4. The Banshees of Inisherin
  5. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
  6. Devotion
  7. Don't Worry Darling
  8. Everything Everywhere All at Once
  9. The Fabelmans
  10. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery
  11. Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio
  12. Nope
  13. She Said
  14. The Woman King
  15. Women Talking

Hildur Gudnadottir is still on track for a second nomination as a result of her work on Women Talking even if Tár was found to be ineligible. It's good to see that Nope wasn't totally overlooked and that Don't Worry Darling can be acknowledged for one of its few redeeming qualities.

ORIGINAL SONG

  1. "Time" from Amsterdam
  2. "Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)" from Avatar: The Way of Water
  3. "Lift Me Up" from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
  4. "This Is A Life" from Everything Everywhere All at Once
  5. "Ciao Papa" from Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio
  6. "Til You're Home" from A Man Called Otto
  7. "Naatu Naatu" from RRR
  8. "My Mind & Me" from Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me
  9. "Good Afternoon" from Spirited
  10. "Applause" from Tell It like a Woman
  11. "Stand Up" from Till
  12. "Hold My Hand" from Top Gun: Maverick
  13. "Dust & Ash" from The Voice of Dust and Ash
  14. "Carolina" from Where the Crawdads Sing
  15. "New Body Rhumba" from White Noise
Justice for "(You Made It Feel Like) Home" and "(Nobody Like U") from Turning Red and Bones & All, respectively. Am I the only one who finds Amsterdam's success here surprising?

SOUND

  1. All Quiet on the Western Front
  2. Avatar: The Way of Water
  3. Babylon
  4. The Batman
  5. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
  6. Elvis
  7. Everything Everywhere All at Once
  8. Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio
  9. Moonage Daydream
  10. Top Gun: Maverick
Moonage Daydream is a wonderful addition, however it's disappointing that Tár's sound design failed to win over Academy members. Another unexpected addition is Pinocchio, and The Fabelmans' exclusion might suggest that the film is not as well-liked as many people have imagined. All we can do is wait and see.

VISUAL EFFECTS

  1. All Quiet on the Western Front
  2. Avatar: The Way of Water
  3. The Batman
  4. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
  5. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
  6. Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore
  7. Jurassic World Dominion
  8. Nope
  9. Thirteen Lives
  10. Top Gun: Maverick
What a dull list this is overall. Sad because it is unexpected that Everything Everywhere All At Once is not present. How exactly did The Secrets of Dumbledore get here is another question.

MAKEUP & HAIRSTYLING

  1. All Quiet on the Western Front
  2. Amsterdam
  3. Babylon
  4. The Batman
  5. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
  6. Blonde
  7. Crimes of the Future
  8. Elvis
  9. Emancipation
  10. The Whale
The Swedish original, which received one of those odd Makeup nods for European films, won't be replicated by A Man Called Otto. Voters appear to have completely forgotten about The Northman. Aside from Crimes of the Future, this branch continues to be frustratingly anti-horror.

  11. An Ostrich Told Me the World Is Fake and I Think I Believe It

I'm so ecstatic about Ice Merchants' success that I can't even begin to express it. Let this become a nomination, please.
