With many of the new blockbusters dominating the science fiction genre, 2023 is predicted to be one of the finest years ever for films. The multiverse-hopping Everything Everywhere All At Once, Jordan Peele's most recent science fiction horror, Nope, and the most current Jurassic Park movie, Jurassic World: Dominion, were among the many excellent science fiction movies that came out in 2022. Sci-fi will have a great start in 2023 with both theatrical releases and original films shortly to be available on streaming services. Science fiction is still growing.

65 (March 10)
The new sci-fi thriller 65 by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, which was once slated for release in May 2022, will now be available on March 10, 2023. 65 will feature Ariana Greenblatt and Chloe Coleman as Mills, an astronaut who is stuck on a primitive Earth following a horrific collision. Adam Driver will play Mills. Audiences should anticipate some classic horror elements produced by Sam Raimi as well as a wonderful score from longtime Raimi colleague Danny Elfman (A Simple Plan, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness).

Shazam! Fury Of The Gods (March 17)
Shazam! 2 is the follow-up to the 2019 film Shazam! and the 12th entry in the DC Extended Universe. Zachary Levi will reprise his role as the title character in Fury of the Gods. The hero, together with his superhuman foster brothers, must fight the Daughters of Atlas and make amends with the Gods after abusing their powers. The antagonists from Fury of the Gods, the Daughters of Atlas, will be portrayed by Rachel Zegler, Helen Mirren, and Lucy Liu, while Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Ian Chen, and Grace Fulton return in their original roles. Fury of the Gods will debut on March 17, 2023, under the direction of David F. Sandberg once more.

The Marvels (July 28)
With Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani returning as Carol Danvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel, respectively, from previous Marvel projects, Marvel Studios' youngest director, Nia DaCosta, will bring the sequel to 2019's Captain Marvel to the MCU in 2023. In a weird tale where they must figure out why they constantly switching places with one another, The Marvels will bring these three superheroes together for the first time. On July 28, 2023, The Marvels will be released in theaters, and Samuel L. Jackson will also be making a comeback.

Blue Beetle (August 18)
Jaime Reyes, also known as Blue Beetle, will be introduced to the franchise in the DC Studios' penultimate movie of 2023. He will be portrayed by Xolo Mariduea, who is best known for his role as Miguel Diaz in Cobra Kai. Mariduea will appear in Blue Beetle alongside Bruno Marquezine, George Lopez, and Raoul Trujillo in a tale in which Reyes acquires superhuman abilities from an alien scarab. The director, Angel Manuel Soto, made the decision to have several scenes in the Spanish language with subtitles, which will set the movie apart from other DC productions. The release date for Blue Beetle is August 18, 2023.

The Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes (November 17)
As a prequel to the original The Hunger Games movie series, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes will focus on the life of a young Coriolanus Snow during the 10th annual Hunger Games. In this addition to The Hunger Games series, which is helmed by veteran Hunger Games filmmaker Francis Lawrence and is an adaptation of Suzanne Collins' original 2020 novel, Tom Blyth will play Snow with a cast that includes Rachel Zegler, Peter Dinklage, and Viola Davis. On November 17, 2023, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes will be available.
