In January 2017, the Laguna Beach alum told Us Weekly that she has no plans to undergo cosmetic surgery to maintain her youthful appearance as she ages.
"My goal is never to get Botox," Kristin stated. "My mom has never done anything with her skin and she looks great, so hopefully I'll be OK, but that's my goal. I'm going to do everything in my power to avoid getting any injections."

Two years later, the Hills star called out trolls who accused her of getting Botox — and she's not alone. In July 2019, Irina Shayk told BAZAAR.com that, despite comments to the contrary, she has never had lip injections.

Kelly Osbourne
"Let's put an end to these ridiculous rumors!!!" "Why can't you be happy for me?" Kelly stated this in an Instagram video in March 2021, after some fans claimed she had something done to her face as a result of her significant weight loss. "I'm always open and honest about what I've done to my body and who I am, and I've never had plastic surgery."
"I've had a couple of injections" in her lips, jaw, and forehead, but I've never done anything else to my face," the Osbournes alum insisted.
Jennifer Lopez
After posting a video of herself using the That Limitless Glow Sheet Mask, the Hustlers actress put an end to plastic surgery rumors in January 2021. "That's just my face!!!" For the 500 millionth time... I have never had Botox, other injectables, or surgery!!" Jennifer responded to a fan who claimed she had "tons" of Botox on her face.
"Get you some JLO BEAUTY and feel beautiful in your skin!!" the singer continued. And here's another JLO Beauty tip: try to spend more time being positive, kind, and uplifting to others... Don't waste your time attempting to bring others down. That will keep you young and beautiful!!"
Kristin Cavallari
The Instagram account @injectorjess accused the Uncommon James founder of getting Botox, as well as lip, cheek, and under-eye fillers, in 2019. Kristin, on the other hand, denied the allegations on Twitter, writing, "I've actually never touched my face, but thanks for the compliment I guess."
"Perhaps get your facts straight before making claims like that," she responded. "I'm proud to say that I'm injectable-free."
Irina Shayk
Despite claims that her signature pout is fake, the Russian native explained that she has never had surgery. "If I read [a headline] and it's like, 'She had injections, her lips look like dumplings,' I just laugh because it just makes me, I don't want to say happy, but I think you have to have a sense of humor in this life," Irina told BAZAAR.com in July 2019. "With everything going on in the world, you have to relax. Some people will love you, while others will despise you. It doesn't really bother me."
Bella Hadid
"People believe I had all of these surgeries or did this or that. And guess what? "Darling, we can do a scan of my face," the model told InStyle in May 2018. "I'm afraid of injecting fillers into my lips. I don't want to smear my face."
Katy Perry
In January 2018, the "Roar" singer told Refinery29 that she hasn't had any plastic surgery, but she has "done laser" and had filler injections under her eyes for "the hollowing" that has occurred over time.
"I have no fake assets. "People think they're fake, but it really doesn't matter," the California native explained. "Always be your authentic self — but if someone wants a nose job that makes them feel better and makes them love their profile more, it's like, 'Go ahead!'" Do anything that makes you feel better about yourself."
Mandy Moore
"I remember seeing some blog post that said I got a nose job," the This Is Us star recalled in a November 2018 interview with PopSugar. "I thought, 'That's strange — my nose is pretty imperfect.'" I have a crinkled part beneath the bridge of my nose that I remember laughing about, saying, 'I feel like I would have fixed that if I had a nose job.'"
"I don't know, maybe it was just a weird picture or weird makeup or shading or something," the A Walk to Remember star continued. People believe that everyone in Hollywood has had a nose job or other cosmetic surgery, but this is not always the case. People will believe whatever they want, which is fine. And if doing work makes someone feel better about themselves, then more power to them."

In 2017, the former reality star denied rumors of cosmetic surgery after her sister Kylie Jenner's makeup techniques altered her appearance at a Facebook Live event they both attended. "All of a sudden, photos of us were being published with headlines like, 'OMG Kendall got her lips done and full facial reconstruction — look at her cheekbones, look at her nose!'" "I thought to myself, 'This is crazy,'" she wrote on her website and app.
"If I address it, people will be like, 'Oh, so she's defending herself — she must be guilty,'" the model explained. Why would I have my face reconstructed as a model? It doesn't make any sense."
Chrissy Teigen
In 2017, the swimsuit model made headlines when she joked that "everything about me is fake except my cheeks" at a Becca makeup event. Chrissy joked that she had her "armpit sucked out" to give her arms "two inches of length," before pointing to her face and laughing that her nose, lips, and forehead were "fake, fake, fake."
The author of Cravings later retracted the statements, tweeting, "Reminder to never ever ever joke, ever" (I did do the armpits, no regrets except it clearly came back). Do you think I'd have this ass if I'd done a lot of work? Who would ask for this ass?" Chrissy, on the other hand, revealed in September 2021 that she had "fat removal" surgery on her face. "No shame in my Mr. Diamond game," she said in an Instagram Story video, praising her surgeon.
Kim Kardashian
Kim worked hard to get her body back to a certain level after giving birth to her eldest child, North, in June 2013. When trolls slammed her on social media for allegedly having surgery to lose baby weight, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum fired back.
"I am very frustrated today after hearing that I had surgery to lose baby weight!" "This is FALSE," she wrote on Twitter in November of that year. "I worked so hard to train myself to eat right and healthy, I worked so hard to exercise, and this was such a challenge for me, but I did it!!! I'm so proud of what I've accomplished, and NO ONE will take it away from me with fabricated reports! Whatever you want to say about me, I work hard and am the most disciplined person you'll ever meet!"
Whitney Cummings
Whitney commented on speculation that she'd gotten a facelift while appearing on Today With Kathie Lee and Hoda in July 2015, after the show's hosts said they couldn't recognize her.
"Well, I did get a new face," joked the comedian. "I did this strange thing that no one likes to do anymore, where I gained weight. I gained about 25 pounds, which I believe was necessary. I used to be far too skinny."
"Here's the thing: When you're on television, you get confused," Whitney added. I appeared to be on my way out... And I gained about 20 pounds. [My face] appears to have filled out. People think I've had a makeover."
