Gauahar stated in a conversation with Hindustan Times, "Being a mother is something I look forward to greatly. I sincerely hope that occurs soon. When anything is about to happen, it will happen since I never plan for it. Zaid (Darbar, my dancer-husband) and I haven't planned anything for "ki ek saal baad, do saal baad," so to speak. We've never genuinely talked about this."
The actress has before disputed rumors that she was expecting a child and that Zaid was 12 years her junior. She posted a tweet, "Dimaag kharaab tumhara hai! Or, actual facts. Get your facts straight before posting since 12 saal chote waali galat news is coming up! Please be sensitive to my recent loss of my father when responding to your unfounded reports. Thank you very nice, but I'm not pregnant."

After participating in Salman Khan's reality series Bigg Boss 7 and winning the competition, Gauahar gained widespread recognition. With Yash Raj Film's Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, she made her acting debut in Bollywood. She later appeared in movies like Ishaqzaade, Fever, and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. In 14 Phere, she was last observed.
Her latest song video, titled Baarish Mein Tum, features her spouse Zaid Darbar. The T-Series song, performed by Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet, is about a couple who rekindle their love on a rainy day. The song was written by Samay, and the video was directed by Adil Shaikh with music by Showkidd and Harsh Kargeti. Additionally, there are private and unguarded exchanges between Gauhar and Zaid in the song video.
