One of the nine delegates, the 24-year-old model, was picked to play "Canal Street Blues" by King Oliver's Creole Jazz Band.
She wrote to her Instagram followers, "I am an introvert, I usually have a hard time expressing myself without thinking too much." "I used music as therapy to get over these emotions and sentiments."
I'm so delighted and thrilled to be going on this musical excursion with my fellow sisters and rediscovering the history of jazz music, she exclaimed.
On Friday, Paula Shugart, the president of Miss Universe, hosted a formal orientation day when Abdullah Khalifa met all of her other contestants.
In September, Abdullah Khalifa was named Miss Universe Bahrain for the current year.
She previously said that winning the title "totally transformed" her life in an interview with Arab News.
"I learned a lot and saw a lot in this brief period. To the Philippines I went. One of the top beauty pageant coaches available has been working with me, she claimed.
According to Abdullah-Khalifa, participating in the pageant is primarily intended to "let the world know more about (Arabs), more about our culture."
"I believe the world ought to know that we, contemporary Arab women, can mix contemporary principles with centuries-old customs," she continued.
There are several Arab models running for the Miss Universe crown in addition to Abdullah Khalifa. Yasmina Zaytoun, Miss Universe Lebanon, is also competing.
The Children Cancer Center of Lebanon, a premier national organization devoted to the treatment and support of children and adolescents with cancer, is represented by the 20-year-old model.
A motivational speaker, Zaytoun. In 2020, she launched her own social media program called "With Yasmina Show."
This week, she posted on Instagram, "I will tell the cosmos about a country that survived and chose life over everything."
