The website of the European Union and Cooperation's Ministry of Foreign Affairs outlines the rules that must be followed by those who wish to relocate to the country.

- In public, she must wear the abaya. This is the talar tunic in a dark color.
- She must dress modestly and with decorum. That is, no more see-through, low-cut, or tight-fitting clothing for her.
- The importation and consumption of alcoholic beverages and pork products are strictly prohibited.
- She is also not permitted to eat, drink, or smoke in public during the month of Ramadan, which runs from March to April.
- In terms of tourism in her new home, because she is not a Muslim, she will be unable to visit the Holy Cities of Mecca and Medina, as well as other natural sites and monuments. They will be able to do so, however, if they obtain a permit.
