Just a day after the former footballer shared a photo on his social media with Clara, the Waka Waka singer posted a note along with a video.
The 45-year-old pop star wrote in Spanish, "Las mujeres ya no lloran las mujeres bailan merengue!" This is a lyric from her new song BZRP Music Session #53 with DJ Bizarrap. It translates to, "Women don’t cry anymore, women dance merengue!"
The Hips Don't Lie singer can be seen dancing to the song too. According to many fans, the track seems to be about her ex-beau.
Shakira and Gerard parted ways last year in June, after being together for 12 long years and share two sons.
