The actress is allegedly facing legal issues once more as a result of her attire. According to reports, Urfi was detained by Dubai police for filming in a public place while donning a skimpy attire, and was also questioned. The actress has, however, finally addressed the issue.
Urfi Javed was said to have been to the United Arab Emirates earlier for the filming of her next works. However, she had run into trouble when Dubai police showed up on her photo shoot locations because of the skimpy attire she had chosen to don. The 24-year-old reality star has since stated that although the police did show up at her shooting locations, it was not because of her clothing.
Urfi Javed revealed to a Zoom portal: "Due to various problems at the scene, the police had come to halt the shot. Since it was a public area, there was a window of time during which we could shoot; however, the production team did not extend the window, so we were forced to depart. My clothing was in no way related to it. It was all arranged before we shot the last scene the next day."
Urfi Javed has been heavily criticized for her wardrobe choices and has been involved in numerous controversies. She previously got into an argument with Farah Khan Ali over remarks she made about her appearance, and more recently, Urfi attacked Chetan Bhagat for calling her a distraction for young people. She has also gotten several rape and death threats on social media because of the clothing she chooses to wear.
