Since she exploded onto the scene as outré fashion’s new darling, Julia Fox’s wardrobe has become a talking point on social media (as has her apartment, but that’s another story). The actor has a penchant for outrageously revealing outfits and Marmite pieces (a crop top/balaclava hybrid, for example), but her challenging take on denim often generates the most debate. And her most recent outfit has us wondering if this woman even owns an ordinary pair of jeans.
Spotted out in New York City this week, the 33-year-old Uncut Gems actor was wearing a backless (and sideless) ultra-minidress made from upcycled denim waistbands under a patchwork denim jacket, with a pair of matching mid-calf boots and a Medea mini bag.
Previously, the actor has worn a Calvin Klein underwear set with denim separates from Alexander Wang, as well as an itty-bitty denim bandeau top with some dangerously low-rise jeans. And let’s not forget that matching Diesel set with pantaboots she wore to her first ever Paris Fashion Week. The most surprising thing Julia could wear at this point would be a classic pair of Levi’s.
