The so-called Princess of Pop, Britney Spears, had the idea of deleting her Instagram account and immediately her millions of fans were alarmed, began to concoct all kinds of theories and worried about her safety, so much so that they ended up calling the police to come to her house to see if she was okay.
Spears' erratic behavior in recent months, which escalated a few days ago when she staged a scandal at a Los Angeles restaurant, has led her millions of fans to believe that the Toxic performer is in a bad mental state.
While this is not the first time Britney deleted her Instagram account, this time she set off alarms among her fans because they believe she may be in danger of hurting herself. That's why they called the police to check if she was okay.
The authorities said there was no reason to believe Spears was in danger, although they did not clarify if they spoke to Britney directly or if someone else assured them she was fine.
Less than two weeks ago, Britney went to a restaurant in LA with her husband, Sam Asghari, and out of nowhere she had a manic attack, starting to speak gibberish and becoming aggressive.
A few days ago, she also shocked by changing her name on Instagram to River Red: "I changed my name to River Red. Don't underestimate the power of purity."
The site TMZ published that the police went to perform the wellness check at the house where Spears has lived for years in Thousand Oaks, reporting that it took place around 11:00 p.m. Tuesday, when they began receiving hundreds of calls asking them to go check if she was okay.
So far, it is unknown if Britney was at home, if she spoke to authorities and if she is okay.
