Siggy Flicker joined "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" in Season 7 and would go on to star in one more season before leaving the show. During her first season, Flicker delighted fans with her on-screen debut. Having just gotten a facelift, she greeted her friends with a bandaged face and drank soup through a straw. "It was beautiful to be part of this. I think that Teresa and Jacqueline [Laurita] and Melissa [Gorga], they killed it this season," Flicker told Bustle ahead of Season 7.
"RHONJ" Season 8 proved to be a bit more difficult for Flicker. She found herself at odds with castmate Margaret Josephs, who called her "Soggy Flicker" for crying all season. Flicker in turn called Josephs antisemitic during a trip to Milan after the Macbeth Collection founder made a comment about Adolf Hitler. Flicker also had an ongoing spat with Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga after they threw a cake she had made for Gorga's birthday.
After the drama-filled season, Flicker announced she was leaving the show. "After much reflection and Bravo's support, I have decided that this will be my last season on 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey.' I am grateful to the network for allowing me to be part of this successful franchise and wish only the best for Teresa, Melissa, Dolores, Danielle, and Margaret," per Bravo. Following her short stint on "RHONJ," Flicker decided she was not only done with the show, but New Jersey as well.
Siggy Flicker moved to Florida for political reasons
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Siggy Flicker decided to flee New Jersey for warmer weather in Florida. As reported by the New York Post, she originally put her house up for sale in 2020, with almost $4 million as the asking price. A year later, it still hadn't been sold, and she lowered the price to $3.85 million.
In February 2021, Flicker's tweet explained at her reason for leaving the Garden State. She shared a picture of herself with Governor Ron DeSantis and wrote, "This is what a true leader looks like. Millions are fleeing to Florida not because they don't love the blue states they live in or lived in.......but because We The People love FREEDOM!! BLUE states deserves the same freedom as RED states. #FreedomforALL."
The following April, Flicker posted a video on Instagram of herself giving a speech touting the Sunshine State. "Everyone is fleeing to Florida because they enjoy something called FREEDOM!! We actually have an amazing leader here @flgovrondesantis who defends the Constitution & protects The Republic," she wrote. Flicker went on to advise Democrats who were planning to move to Florida to bypass the state and head on to Cuba. The "RHONJ" star is a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump, and found herself on the defense after being called out for allegedly attending the Capitol riot.
Siggy Flicker denies she stormed the Capitol
After the infamous storming of the Capitol in January 2021, a Twitter user shared a picture of a woman wearing a red cap and claimed she was Siggy Flicker, per TMZ. However, the former reality star told the outlet that she was in Boca Raton at the time and had been there for the last two months. She added that while she was previously at a Trump rally in October 2020, she doesn't condone violence and believes those who have caused damage inside the Capitol should be jailed.
Flicker shared a video of herself on Twitter calling the accusation "fake news" and told fans that the woman in the picture was not her. "Don't believe all the bulls*** that's out there. I've been in Florida since December 3rd, heading back to Jersey soon," she stated.
Flicker continues to be a huge supporter of Donald Trump and uses her platform to speak out in favor of the former President and his support for Israel. "#JEXIT is proud to be the 1st Jewish Organization to give Trump 'THE DEFENDER OF ZION' award. JEXIT's mission is to educate and encourage hopelessly indoctrinated American Jews to leave the Democrat Party that has left them a long time ago," she shared on Instagram. While she is no longer battling it out on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," Flicker is just as outspoken as ever.
