Colour coordination can be satisfying – especially when it’s done right. Case in point: Kendall Jenner modelling a minidress and tights in the same oxblood shade, with a dark maroon manicure to match.
Over the weekend, Jenner was papped out in West Hollywood look 49 from Matthieu Blazy’s spring/summer 2023 collection for Bottega Veneta, comprising a cowl-neck dress – KJ’s hemline was shorter than the version seen on the runway – and matching opaque tights, offering a contemporary take on tonal dressing.
Kendall added patent black slingbacks and carried a mini version of the brand’s new season Sardine bag, realised in its signature black intrecciato woven leather.
This isn’t Kendall’s first outing in Bottega Veneta’s designer hosiery. Last year, she was snapped nonchalantly strolling down a street in a navy sweater, briefs and tights from Blazy’s spring/summer show, sans bottom half – a trouser-less look that swiftly swept the internet. Further endorsement of wearing tights and nothing else arrived on new year’s eve, when she rang in 2023 dressed in just Calzedonia 20-deniers, a bodysuit from MM6 Maison Margiela and heels.
